Wolf Park

I can’t find my notes for the park and my Photography class I took last winter. This is what happens when I post 5 months after the trip.

The wolves look amazingly serene in some of the pictures but they are still a little wild. One of the wolves came up behind me when I was kneeling taking pictures. We weren’t supposed to touch them, so when she started licking my face I just kept taking pictures, I don’t think she was getting the attention she wanted so she put her head between mine and my camera. Luckily one of the handlers coaxed her away from me. You will see the black wolf, Niko, who stole a glove is the most wild one they let out with us. Just as we were leaving the enclosure he came up behind me and bit the back of my leg. It felt like a bee sting but it didn’t leave a mark.

So here are my photos from the park.
